Is http://ri.search.yahoo.com/ an yahoo site?

If you have McAfee Site Advisor, you can check that domain out or if you don't have it, you can go to Site Advisor website and plug in the domain to be checked, 'ri.search.yahoo.com' and they say it is a good site, has the green check mark but it is listed as: merchanidisng or marketing? ??Also, there is a website, robtex, you can put in the domain, and check all what there is on that. Sorry Donna I am asking the same questions as you: have no clue really what it is, only appeared in my Yahoo search hits, and seems like each and every search hit has to go thru what I now call the Land of 'ri.'. What is it, why is it there, and what does it do? Odd the designation of marketing and merchandising. Marketing what? merchandising what? I have no clue, but really would like to know.Hopefully someone will have an answer. This is what I have found just doing net search as I am not very computer literate. K.

That sounds like a browser redirect virus. They're horrible to get rid of because they establish invisible rootkits in your system, but getting rid of it with a downloaded rootkit killer,is possible. Good luck.
