Has anyone here been to Salvador, Bahia in Brazil?

  • If so what was it like? Tell me the good and the bad.

  • Answer:

hi, i went to rio and salvador in oct for my honeymoon, i have to say salvador is very beautiful indeed, there's a very pretty little village called praia de forte which i think is mainly funded by tourism and the tamar project protecting the local turtle population, i recommend giving it a visit and supporting the local community, i didn't rate rio at all, was filthy, it stunk of human waste and the people were VERY rude and unfriendly.... salvador is beautiful, sunny and full of wonderful people.
