Would a DVD-R work in a portable DVD player?

DVD+R Disc doesn't work on my DVD Player, but works on my PORTABLE DVD Player?

    I FACED A PROBLEM THAT MY VIDEOS ON COMPUTER WONT PLAY ON DVD PLAYER. I USED NERO VISION FOR SOLVING THAT PROBLEM PROCEDURE: OPEN NERO VISION GO TO MAKE A DVD > DVD VIDEO. THEN FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. THEN BURN. (HERE NO PROBLEM OF SUPPORTING FORMAT FOR DVD. NERO AUTOMATICALLY CONVERTS TO .VOB FORMAT) I AM NOT SURE WHETHER IT WILL WORK FOR YOU OR NOT. IT WORKED FOR ME ON SONY DVD PLAYER

The Toshiba DVD Player is simply not compatable with burned DVDS every DVD player is different

The Toshiba DVD player might need to be cleaned out, or the dvd+r needs a little wash too. If your dynex portable is newer this might be the reason it plays on it too. Hope that helps.

The Toshiba player simply isn't compatible with either DVD+R disks or possibly any burned disk. Not all DVD players are created equal.
