    hook the vcr audio out to you receiver and diverge the video cable going to your tv.you can also connect vcr directly to your tv then connect the audio out from your tv to your reciever audio in then put your receiver into correct mode and your good to go.

on the back of your tv you should have a set of RCA jacks. the red yellow white connections on the back of a tv. they are labeled and there should be a red and white set that says audio output. connect the rcas there and then hook in up to the reciever where it say tv. just remember where it says output, that means the sound is being sent to another source and if it says input that means the sound is being recieved from another source and should be sent through your speakers. well hope thiss helps.

You should have an 'out' on the back where you can plug the RCA cable (red, white and yellow). Only two are needed for sound, the third is for picture and isn't needed for external speakers.

does your tv have a left right audo out (plugs red and white) if it does just go to a store and buy a cable to hook from your tv to your reciever. the same way for your vcr. Rca audio cable is what you are lloking for
