Can a DirecTV Tivo System work with just cable TV?

I only have cable TV and I am wanting to get a TIVO system, I see all the DirecTV systems on Ebay and just wanted to know if any of them will work for regular cable? If so which of ...show more

no direct tv reciever will work with cable they are made to pick up a satilite signal but cable has there own version
