What satellite company is the best one?

Is there any company that sells internet access to satellite or cable tv one could watch on their computer?

  • Just wondering if there is any company that offers satellite or cable tv shows one can watch on the computer rather than the tv? We live in a rural area and our only option to watch ...show more

  • Answer:

Sorry NO.... Watching TV on the computer is a bonus offered by (SOME of) the cable and satellite companies for subscribing to their service. There is NO service that streams "cable TV networks" onto the Internet. The cable networks do NOT allow that, unless your cable/satellite company permits it as a bonus to subscribing to them. If you have a computer monitor the DirecTV or Dish network receiver should be able to feed a signal to the monitor if it has either a HDMI, composite/component input. Also you can get a TV capture card for the computer and feed the signal to it from the satellite receiver then to the computer monitor.
