both dish network and direct tv have almost the same channels and almost the same price. if you'll try comparing the price PER channel then you'll find that the difference is just a couple of cents. dish network is the only satellite tv with an equipment for dual tv

DirecTV has no dual TV receivers like Dishnetwork has or had.

directv is a greater choice rather than dish. in my area we are able to control 2 tv's but ours had to be hd.
