How can I get HD channels on an HD ready TV?

These are commonly used for terrestrial Freeview, including the HD channels that are available.

Why is that misleading? Does it say anywhere (at all) that by buying the TV, you would get HD channels? Even if you buy an HD digital box, you still won't get HD channels. You have to subscribe and pay a monthly fee. That's not misleading either, BTW, it's called common sense.

I don't know what country you are from but yes you need a HD "Digital box" If you are in the UK then you need a Freeview HD box or Freesat HD box, you can also pay to get HD channels on SKY, plus there are others who send TV over the internet which provide HD i.e. BT TV and Virgin Media. I don't know how it works in America, if that's where you come from. Buy a box and simply ask if it's HD, you'll also need a HDMI cable to connect it to your TV. -HDMI cable -HD Digital box -Might need to pay depending where yo get your TV from.
