What are some requirements to join a middle school dance team?

    im on a high school team and we have to have splits, single turn, double turn, be working on our fouettes, and learn a side line dance, and a full dance it depends on the level of team your trying out for!

You really need to ask the instructor, because requirements are different in every school. It could be anything from being a warm body, to passing an audition and being able to attend practice several hours a week.

I would hope there are none..........except grades. Have a nice xmas and good luck on the dance team next year.

well mine you just had to had to have a dance with a regular 8 count, and be able to freestyle for awhile

When I was in junior high the cheerleaders were the skinny girls, the dance team were the pudgy girls, and the flag squad were the ugly girls. Hope this helps.
