    obviously as the above answer stated stretch.. all the time. i mean every time your watching tv, your reading, your talking on the phone, anything. also once the flexibility is out of the way, and we are working towards stamina and KEEPING your kicks high throughout a whole routine, what will help is getting ankle weights and kicking for as long/as high as you can. continue to do this and it should make your kicks so much easier(your legs feel lighter)

strech, strech, and strech some more. lol practice your splits alot, and in time you should be able to do high kicks...it really depends on how flexible your legs and hips are. good luck!!!
