If your mother can make a statutory declaration that you are her child, that she was married at the time of your birth, then you can have the birth certificate reissued. All she has to do is go to a Justice of the Peace, tell him/her what she needs and the JP writes it out for her. It costs nothing , a JP is free. Don't engage a lawyer, it will cost you the earth. Armed with the Statutory Declaration you go to the office of Births,Deaths and Marriages and make an application for a birth certifcate to be reissued. Where were your parents married? If it was England, then you ask at the same time as the birth certificate. All you need to know is the full names of both parties, the date of the marriage and where it took place. For the Moroccan carte nationale/carte de sejour, as a foreigner, you need a birth certificate, passport, evidence of rent paid or ownership of property in Morocco, such as contract of sale, an attestation from a bank that you have an account with more tham 10,0000 dirhams and a 100 dirhams stamp .
