Tango In Argentina?

American tango or Argentina tango?

  • Answer:

How very american of you, to think that the International Standard version of tango is called "American Tango". It's actually called English Tango, as opposed to Argentine Tango, and I have to say I prefer English Tango to Argentine Tango.

I have to vote for Argentinian Tango. Just finished a 8 week class. Loved it. It's more sensual.

Be practical. Whichever is more popular in your area will offer you more opportunities. I like Argentine but rarely get a chance to dance it. Modern (International) is the same. So I dance American for the most part, simply because that's what most people in my area know.
