A MacPro better, faster, easy to use. The MAC is a true computer, not a game playing machine. If you want to play games get a playstation or an xBox.

"The Dell Xl.....something." ROFL! That is the least accurate statement I have ever heard in my entire life. If the majority of society wasn't so computer illiterate, Dell would go out of business in an instant. This is a very difficult question to answer. The fastest 'computer' is over 350 teraFLOPS, buit by IBM. This, however, is not a 'computer, rather it is a SuperComputer. It is a combination of hundreds of computers all "hook up" together to become ONE SuperComputer to RULE THEM ALL!! On a serious not however, personal computers are measured differently. If you are refurring strictly to processor speed. It is difficult to say which proccesor is fastest because different ones excel at different tasks. AMD's Athlon 64is arguable the fastest gaming CPU on the market. However, Intel's Pentium 4 is the fastest on the market for different tasks, notably Media Encoding. Getting multi-core processors, Like the Apple-Intel Xenon 8-Core Mac Pro, will boost performance above and beyond any computer. Then you might say "Well if it's 8 core, isn't it the fastest". My answer would be not, at least not necessarily. Like I said earlyer, different CPUs run different tasks better or worse. The MacPro is built specificaly for running OS X and working with Pro Applications like Final Cut, Motion, and Apateure as well as Adobe's Creative Suit. Since about 80% of computer users run Windows XP, the Mac Pro isn't considered the fastest.

Mac Pro with 2 intel xeon quad core processors @ 3.00 ghz. 4 gb. of memory, and a high end card. ( i wish u could get the 8800 as an option)
