PDF documents should be opened with Adobe, but make sure you are using Adobe's 'print' option to print the document.

your going to have to re-size it....try switching it over to a different format and opening it with another program so you can see about what size will work...sometimes there is not much you can do to get it to look readable when printed. It's NOT your printer....most of the time things opened with Adobe appear larger cause they are zoomed in so you can see it clearly...when it prints it's not so clearly cause it wasn't to begin with. I have that problem alot of time when I do genealogy work.
