Can i hook up 2 computers to one printer using a usb cord?

    If your printer is network printer, you should definitely use a router to network it. If not, you could set up one of the computers (probably the desktop) to simply accept any incoming print requests from the laptop. This does require the desktop to be powered on and running if you want to print. As far as just a cable to connect both machines through USB, there are some out there, but I've never actually seen it work properly.

yes but you will have to unplug the usb cable when you use IT. it your two computers are netwoked it is easy. all you have to do is install the printer and share it.

install the cd of the printer to both they don't require any serial numbers so it should allow you to do it but a wireless printer would work better you just pick up the wireless signal with your laptop connect it and start printing
