How do you remove the yellow tint from a computer screen?

Its either of the 4: 1. If its a desktop Your monitor cables are loose.. Try checking at the back of your monitor and the connection to the CPU... Try to secure them firmly. If its a laptop then this item doesnt apply 2. It maybe your color settings has changed.. Try to adjust the monitor hue/saturation or other color settings you may have. Check your manual if necessary. 3. Lower power coming in your computer. Try to check your other appliances like your light bulbs if you have problem with your electricity. 4. If all else fails, perhaps you need to have your monitor repaired.. Better yet, to save you headache, just buy a new monitor.. and you say its emachines, then try to purchase other good brands such as NEC, HP etc.. Hope this helps!

Check the VGA plug. Unplug your monitor. Look at the plug and check for bent pins, dust of foreign objects. Check the computer for this as well. All clean on both sides? Good. Then try plugging it in again carefully. Did that yellow tint disappear? Good then it was a connection problem. If the yellow tint is still there, it is probably not the computers fault, I would say it is most likely the monitor. What I would do is consider going to buy a new flat screen monitor. They take up less room on your desk and give of less radiation than CRTs.

Try changing the color settings. Maybe you can adjust it so that the yellow isn't as strong.
