Why won't the monitor display anything?

My lcd monitor wont display anything???

    If the cables are still in place and the display is black the only good answer is that the LCD is gone. You have to get a new one, they are not repairable. The chinese invasion has lowered the LCD quality a lot.

if youhave can hear sound then your black light might have gone out and you need to replace it .its pretty easy you can do it yourself

Seems you may have to run the system restore to a point before this incident. Moreover, if you can you should run your computer's hardware test program that can test your drivers, your hardware that includes your monitor and video adapter. To make sure you don't have the problem again, run disk cleanup and system restore from a restore point first then of course make sure first to see if all connecting cables are in place and up and running.

Turn it off and turn it back on. Then unplug it and plug it back in.
