I have an ACER 17" LCD monitor. It powers up fine, but turns itself off after a few minuites, any ideas?

are you seeing a picture before it goes off? make sure the DVI or VGA cable is securely fitted into the monitor and the computer go to the menu and check that its power saving timer isn't set too low hope this helps

Have you tried another kettle lead (I presume it uses a kettle lead)? Does it completely turn off eg. no signs of power until you turn it on again?
