If you couldn't find driver on Dell site easy, you could try a program I use. It automatically updates your drivers, saves me a lot of time and frustration. Take a look here for those drivers. http://www.dell-drivers.org/

Whoever told you about the driver is right. You graphics card is currently not installed more than likely. You need to either go to ATI or Nvidia's website and download the driver for your graphics card. You will not need to know the model, just the series that it is in.

Yes... You need to go to Dell's website and download the video driver for your specific laptop model. The following link SHOULD take you to the correct page: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&cs=08W&l=en&s=bsdv&os=WW1&osl=en&catid=&impid=&SystemID=INS_PNT_PM_1521 If it does not, simply go to Dell's support page (http://support.dell.com/) and click on the 'Drivers and Downloads' section. You should then be prompted to enter your Service Tag number which you can find on a sticker on your laptop. Enter this code and you will be directed to the proper page for drivers for your laptop. Unfortnately, there are no Windows 7 specific drivers for your particular laptop listed on Dell's site. You can try the Windows Vista 32-bit drivers provided by Dell and see if those work. According to the Dell web site, your laptop has an AMD Radeon Xpress 1250 chip installed... but I could find no listing for that specific chipset on AMD's website. It is quite possible that your chipset may not be supported by Windows 7. If the driver from Dell's website does not help, you may need to contact Dell support for assistance, or check with the Windows 7 compatibility guide on Dell's site: http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/dsn/document?c=us&cs=08W&docid=361553&l=en&s=bsdv#1 Good luck!
