What kind of video cable do I need to connect my laptop to tv??

    Check to see if your laptop has a S-Video port. If it does you can use a s-video cable to connect the laptop to the tv. For audio, you can use a 3.5mm Stereo Plug to 2 RCA Plug cable (look something like this http://images.monoprice.com/productlargeimages/6651.jpg ) to connect laptop to the tv. Use the headphone out on the laptop and the audio in on the tv.

It all depends on your laptop's capabilities. If there is an S-video output on your laptop, then you can use an S-video cable since you said there's one on the TV.
