Should I connect my speakers through my monitor or my PC?

How do i connect other external (ceiling) speakers to my pc? i have pc speakers beside monitor already plzzzzz

    see weather there is a blue hole back of back of your cpu insert the wire and go to the control panel and select sound and manage ur speaker system

Where are the PC Speakers connected to? If in built in Motherboard Line in and Line out, you can buy an auxiliary Sound Card and plug it in PCI/PCI Express expansion slots, that has the plugs required to plug in the speakers or sub woofers.

My PC speakers took up the only headphone inlet jack on my pc, so i just put an adapter into the inlet that made it so two jack's could be put into it... then plugged the amp into the other inlet and all my new speakers into the amp... pretty simple but effective. It was a belkin ipod kind of double adapter! 15 bucks.

Hmm you could plug the ceiling speakers into your stereo and buy a auxilery to soundcard cable?
