  • Answer:

Right Click on your main Desktop Backround, go into Properties. Then Click on the tab that says Settings. You should then see an area that has the heading Colours. You should know what to do from there! Maybe try restarting the computer by switching everything off by the plugs and then back on. And retry the above /\/\/\ Otherwise you may need to reinstall your display driver which can be a bit of a pain.

try right-clicking somewhere on your desktop that doesn't have an icon. a small menu should come up. The option you want (I believe) should be "display modes" Give that a shot and see if that's where the problem is. Otherwise, you're going to have to go into the control panel and reset it using the "display" options there.

Go to start menu. Then Control Panel Then double click on display Choose the last tab on the right change to 32 colors

Go into control panel, then displays, then settings. You'll find it in there. Good luck!

I don't think a pentium 200 would support 4 gigs of memory...512MB maybe. Right click on the desktop then properties, then settings and see if it goes over 16 colors. If not, then you need to reload your video drivers.
