Why does my monitor have a pink hue to it?

Is there any way to adjust my monitor? I turned my computer on yesterday and now it shows a pink hue coloring.

    1. your contrast is off and you need to readjust it with the button panel on the front of your monitor (i.e. menu -> color -> contrast) 2. Your VGA cable is pinched/damaged in which case red is coming through the cable to strongly. Buy a new cable. 3. Monitor has gone bad, replace monitor. 4. Video card has gone bad, replace card.

Hit the degauze button on your monitor. It might also be in the monitor menu. If not that, it's the contrast.

If you did not moved it or change location the problem is probably inside the monitor ( video board connected to the picture tube). The blue section of the circuit must be check, usually a transistor got loose from the circuit board, I usually re solder the transistor pins and the problem is fixed....

My parents computer does the same thing...on their monitor the problem is corrected by wiggling the VGA cable where it connects into the graphics card on the back of the computer. Their monitor is also going back ( picture stretches off the screen when you turn it on, the picture is wavy along the edges...etc).

that hapend to my comp. also you could try taping it a little or moving the cord in the back around for me it rarley hapens anymore but it sure is anoying worse comes to worse u should call the company and ask for a refud type of thing
