How to clean a computer screen?

Does anyone know how to safely clean a Computer Screen?

    Go to any computer store. They sell moist wipes and/or a kit containing a lint free cloth and spray made for computer screens. I've even seen public libraries handing out the wipes for free on request for laptop using patrons

i have never used any product to clean my screen, they always leave a residue on them which is always visiable and makes it look horrible when in bright light. i usually use a glasses cleaning cloth, of you dont have one a new cleaning cloth will do. wash it with water, then ring it out as much as you can, wipe over the screen, this should get the screen clean, if there is still stuff stuck on the screen, use the same damp cloth and get some soap (a bar of soap is best) just touch the soap with the cloth and use it on the spot that is not coming off, lightly press on the screen and do a circular motion, this should get it off. once that is done, wipe over with a part of the cloth that has no soap on it, and then use something to dry off the screen.

I use windex. Lol. Probably isn't the most correct way some people would go with, but it doesn't hurt it. Try that.
