Why does my computer screen change color?

I'm no geek, but if you go to start @ bottom left,click, go to settings, click, go to monitor,click appearence, then background. Select choice color, click APPLY, that should lock in your choice, and should not randomly change your background. As a second thought,check and see if your CPU recognizes the monitor your using.By the way, my T.C#PC013 Good Luck, Rick

while changing color just tap on monitor head if its give display good then treir is some dry soldering prob inside the monitor call a hardware technician ans ask him to clear that other wise it may may be prob with the connector try to check that also

it doesnt work well, get a new one

couple things listed in order of mostly likely to least likely: 1. Pinched VGA cable, try swapping it out. 2. Monitor is going bad, not likely though monitors usually display wierd stuff on the screen, not solid colors 3. Video Card is going bad, not likely either because video cards will usually put nothing on the screen if going bad.
