How to recycle a laptop?

I have a laptop that is 6 years old. Its still functioning, newly reformatted. How do i recycle this laptop?

  • The lid has sticker residue, there are couple of holes, and cracks, and the cd cover to close the drive is totally snapped off. I don't even know whats between the keys.

the best option would be to sell it on ebay because the people there will be looking for parts and they can use nearly anything. check out some of the other laptops on there that are similarly priced and rice yours accordingly

Give it to poor childern in China!!!

Donate it to a school child who's family may not be able to financially get a computer. I've given a few computers away to parents with children who have health issues. It enables them to keep up with new treatments and such by having a computer they otherwise couldn't afford because of their medical bills. These have been single mothers raising their special needs kids. That computer that may make you cringe will make a child overfilled with joy. good luck :-)

In truth, there's not much you can do with that laptop. At best, probably can be used for simple internet usage or a word processor. Clean it up a bit and either sell it for a small price or give it to someone who may need a laptop. It's still functional so sell it to a college student who'll always be in need of one. Especially, if they are stuck doing papers.
