I am going to join college this year. which laptop should i buy which will help me in my studies?

hi. for INR 30 -40k a dell inspiron 15 is the best go. Ur first preference should be Compaq bcoz its service is awesome. I m using it for past 1year in my engg. college and whenever i had any probs regarding my laptop , they had replaced my parts and very fast. While if u purchase HP or VAIO,it will cost u more. If u purchase Dell , it has the worst customer service. So u should buy a Compaq Core 2 duo ,2 GB RAM,Wifi,Bluetooth , DVDRW etc... It will cost u around 36-37000 INR. I bought my piece C786TU(i dont think its available now) in around 40000 INR. Its a good piece.

why complicate? if its not for gaming, then buy any dual core laptop which offers more HDD space and is in your budget range. forget about mac, it starts with a minimun of 60k or so.

CHeck out DELL products and Acer. MAcbook will be great too...it is qualified as 'college notebook'..They Macbook air will give u bonus iPhone Touch... I saw it in internet advertisement.

hey don't go for the name you should know what is your work then your need should be in your budget you can go for LG Xnote RD-405 A or HP when you will visit to any store there will there price so don't get one if they are saying that it's around 35000 then say to them i'll pay only 31000. ask in lot of shops then get . they will give you also another thing like pen drive etc. if you are going to make your career in computer then go and learn C language and C++ . if you will be the master of these language then you'll know also Java so learn them and also maths Matrix and sets go do that now then only your future will be good

I don't know how much INR are worth. If you wanna spend less buy Windows, Mac is expensive. Are you a gamer? or do u just need the laptop for studies and music? AMD is better for games, but intel processors crash less because they are developed together with windows. I would actually recommend windows XP, cos its cheaper and runs smoother, but thats up to you. Most laptops have wireless by now, and all have a network cable plug, so don't worry about that. For the harddrive, you can always buy an externeal for 100-200 dollars in addition to the one in your laptop. And you can backup work on this too. It's really usefull. I would recommend VAIO laptops, but they can get expensive.. ASUS, TOSHIBA, HP are all good brands.... Still to expensive? TERRA is also alrite, and if you buy unknown brands it will also be cheaper, but there's no guarantee that they will be good quality. ask a shopkeeper in a computer store, even if you don't itend to buy it there, they'll usually help you out!!!

I like the big hard drive for the MP3's !! Part of science?? You need a scientific laptop, (for chemical notation!), ask in store. Or a gaming~, or a drawing~, or a musical~, or a mathematical~, or a home~ , ...... according to the subject matter being studied. Peace.
