Galway is an _exceptionally_ rural area. Lovely, but there's no way you could describe it as anything but rural. You couldn't pay me enough to live in London. Big, noisy, dirty, expensive. Lancaster? Again, the university's in a really pretty rural area. Why have you narrowed your choices down in such an odd way? What about Birmingham? Bath? Bristol? Southampton? Manchester? Sheffield?

Are you a high school student? Are you a college student? I don't know about secondary school of United Kingdom, but I know little about college of UK. If you want to go to good college easily, you must learn foundation. And if you want to go to great college such as King's college, you have to study A-level.

Domn't go to Lancaste3r, the uni itself is outside the town and the campus is basically stuck in a field. Your nearest airport to get to mainland Euroipe is Manchester, a couple of hours away if you drive, longer by public transport. I know nothing about Gallway. London has good links to most of the rest of Europe.
