Why does my computer sometimes blackout?

I just had a blackout...is my computer fine?

If you just lost power, the only problem you'll have is the loss of any unsaved data that you were working on. However, if there was a power surge then the power went out, you could have damaged parts.

It should be fine. Some times there are power surges though that can kill a computer. You should have it plugged into a surger to prevent that. If you are using it now it should be fine.

If your computer is on stock voltage then it is fine. If it has been overclocked then i suggest you buy power protection.

Well, if your using that computer to post, then yes. Also, if it is a laptop, then nothing would have happened. Other than that, you'd just have to use it and see to make sure it is alright.

Obviously it will be your on it aren't you Lol!!! But you will have lost any unsaved data apart from that it will be ok. More importantly is everyone alright. No! it wont have any problems caused by this in the future
