Nice, safe place to live and go to university in North America?

    Boston is a large city and there are certain parts of it that are not safe, just like all big cities. Unless you are pursuing a highly specialized degree, there are probably many colleges with good courses. You can research schools that offer the degree you want and you can also research the cities they are in. There are just so many in North America that I don't think you realize how large your question is. I live in Denver, Colorado and there are many colleges here or nearby (University of Denver, Metropolitan State College, Colorado State University, University of Colorado, Colorado Christian College, Regis University, Johnson and Wales University, plus private schools and technical colleges). There are safe neighborhoods near all of them and unsafe areas also.

There are several good schools in the US, but I'm not sure if you're wanting a school in the US or Canada. If you're thinking of the US, then might I suggest, Centre College in Danville, KY? It's a beautiful, small, liberal arts college in the middle of Kentucky. It's very safe, and close to Lexington, Louisville, and a couple of hours drive to Cincinnatil. It's also know for it's academics and it will be home to the US vice presidential debates again this year. It's known as the Harvard of the South. Danger increases as the local population does. Try finding a good school located in a small town. I went to a good private university in a town so small that if the university wasn't there it wouldn't even exist.
