How would British students react to an American transfer student?

I'm sure everyone here would be really welcoming and probably try and impress you as much as possible. Oh and everyone will go crazy over your accent, don't be nervous everyone will love you :)

British schools are so diverse there are people from everywhere, people wouldnt even care to be honest. Girls would find your accent nice though ;)

Personally I love American culture and sports so I would think it'd be great! I'm sure you wouldn't be the only transfer student.

They might think you're stupid, you just need to show them that you're not, you're better than some Americans already because you know there's a world outside of America. They might tease you a bit with words that are different or if you pronounce things slightly different, especially boys, my partner is 30 and worked with an American, he teased her but in a friendly way.
