This might not be the answer you're looking for, but could be an option.. Most Australian unis give you the option of studying at an overseas university as part of an Australian degree. You usually have to do your 1st and sometimes 2nd year of you uni before they will allow you to go overseas and do some units at an approved university. Often you need to have good study results in order to qualify (eg. a credit average). I don't know if it'll change by the time you get to uni, but there's actually a government grant that you can apply for whereby they give you financial assistance for overseas study (but I'm not sure what you need to qualify, probably means tested). A friend of mine got this, she did a couple of units with her boyfriend in the UK. Here's an example of one university's programs (but check other unis too!). http://www.deakin.edu.au/future-students/student-exchange/exchange/index.php Best of luck.

1 - Stop buying useless & worthless unnecissary things like wine, beers....etc 2 - & try to find a job, just a small one that can get you money anyway.. 3 - befriend a rich american girl (wait a min ! are you a boy or a girl?) online, & make her/him fall for you.

Hey, Im from Australia also in the same situation, but I would like to attend USC. Try for the scholarships? I don't know if they're available to International Students but you can give it a try. A tip also, try to live on campus, or share a room with a bunch of people as this'll keep your rent down, therefore more college money when you get there.

Most students in America don't pay full tuition - since university is so expensive there, most students get financial aid. Look into what aid is offered by Penn State and check out FAFSA (free application for federal student aid) - I'm not sure what aid is offered to international students, but it's worth checking it out. Good luck.
