I'm attending College later this year. When I turn 18 I'll be going to University, but I wanted to go to one in America and live on campus full-time. How would I go about ...show more

Answer:
1st- you have to contact the college you want to attend in the US (they will tell you what you need conserning your grades) 2nd- if you are accepted, you have to apply for a studen visa at the american ambassy in the UK for that you need to show proof how or who will support you financially while you study ***Note you will not be abel to work with a student visa and if you should not keep your grades each year your visa will automatically cancel they will know about your grades because it is a requirements for the school to send info to immigration (at least it was) Good luck

Contact the "Admissions Office" at the school(s) you want to attend. Tell them you are coming from overseas, and they will help you with everything. If they can't help you, they will direct you to the right people who can, but usually the admissions office people are the ones to talk to. Good luck with everything, and I hope it all works out for you!

First narrow down which universities you would like to attend. You can get information about how to figure out which university is the right fit by visiting http://www.universitylanguage.com . The site also includes information about admissions tests, applications and living in the dorms. Good luck!

I would start researching which university you are interested in and begin applying. Once you're accepted, the university admissions office will be able to advise and assist. You may want to start by talking to your college counselors and staff and see if they have any advice for you too! Best Wishes!

You will need to obtain a student visa and if you want to work anywhere other than on campus you need to also get a work visa....Contact the university you plan on attending and they can help you. Most universities have a department just to assist international students. GOODLUCK!!!!!!!!!
