According to Old Testament Kosher laws, it's a sin. People in non Christian sects of Judaism will not eat pork for this reason. For a messianic it is not a sin because Jesus declared that all foods were clean, it was what was in the heart that made a man impure.

You are what you eat.. If you eat pig then you are pig now lets consider what a pig eat.. A pig is a filthy animal that eats anything including its own feces.. Now being that you are what you eat then a pig is what it eats. so Feces is what a pig actually is ... So the pig is Feces and you eat it therefore you are Feces.. So sure its a sin..

Well in my mind, it is. But thats only because im vegetarian. But to the average person, no it is not. And even if you dont like pigs, dont eat it. Its very unhealthy.

Different religions ,observe not eating pork! One is Seven Day Adventist.Too much of it is,is unhealthy.But for many families,it is also an inexpensive meat to be able to fed their families with!

Pork is just another form of protein source for daily diet. Depending on your religion, some forbid pork and some don't. There are tons of people eating pork out there since forgotten time. Of course everything has to be in moderate portions, overeating something even a great and healthy will turn bad. Key words, moderate. Hope this will enlighten your day.

I believe that God said it was unclean and if you follow God then no, you should not eat pork. There is also vast scientific evidence that pork is very unhealthy and contains many diseases and parasites that are easily transferable to humans and much harder to kill through cooking than the germs in beef and other meats. Many, many religions do no believe in eating pork, including Jews, Muslims and many branches of Christianity including the Seventh Day Adventist church, in which I was brought up.
