    PETA must not be aware of the grading standards. The only time that milk may contain such yucky stuff is if the cow has mastitis which is an infection of the mammary glands. If that is the case the dairy will milk that cow separately from the rest of the herd to prevent any contamination of the other milk. Don't believe everything you hear from PETA.

Well I happen to be a cow farmer and that is the farthest from the truth. Nothing is in milk but vitimans and minerals that you need to be happy and healthy. yummie. with the other stuff you are talking about it would stunt your growth..EVERYWHERE!!

no, that is so very not true. the only way it would contain that is if it came from diseased cows. i live in an area that has alot of dairy farmers, and they won't milk cows like that...they cull them and treat them until they are better. unhealthy cows won't give much milk anyway, and the farmers want as much milk as possible. they go to great lengths to keep their cows healthy and happy.

Absolutely not true...just like human milk cow milk is about as pure as it gets...provided the "provider" doesn't have any raging infections going on. With the rules and regulations the FDA has in place you can be assured the milk you have is clean and healthy. The problem with PETA is that they assume a millitant approach to animal rights. Just like the current administration they won't shy away from releasing lies and half-truths to further their own goal. I mean, come on...this is an organization that releases lab animals that have been infected with the most horrendous deseases. How's that for ethical? Lets save two rabbits and infect the countryside.

PETA will tell you anything to get you on their side. Think 'scientology'. At the same time, to be honest but not offensive, much produce, washed or not, has at one time been urinated on by some sort of animal. If you think about it, everything has a 'yuck' factor. Some is true, some is not, but really if it hasn't bothered you yet, why change because some extreme institute wants you as a follower?
