Why is my flip video camera losing memory?

    Plug your camera into your PC. Be sure that you have all of your Videos saved on the pc Delete the 100videos folder from the flip Empty the Recycle bin Create a folder on your desktop titled "backup" Copy the ENTIRE contents of your flip drive to the "backup" folder Go to "My computer", right click on the flip drive and select Format Check the box for quick format Unplug the Flip and power it on (It should show your full time available) Plug the camera back into your computer copy the files from the "backup" folder back onto the camera Unplug the camera and power it up. You should have fully restored recording space. This has worked for both of my Flips an F160 and an F140.

make sure you have copied the files to your computer, either through the camera delete the files (video) or just format the drive in your camera. should be ok then RR
