get a video capture device. It isn't possible to connect your ps3 to it.

You don't. A camcorder records only its camera.In that case, you shoot the TV screen. Or read your camcorder user manual and see if it says how to feed A/V from a source (in your case the console directly from its analog A/V cable). Or do what everyone else is doing, get an HD capture device and record component A/V.
