What is the best hot pink pocket size camcorder?

Would you buy a camcorder without image stabilization?

  • I would like to but a DGX pocket size camcorder. They have good reviews but suggest you use a tri pod. How bad is the video without stabilization.

If it is a really great deal, sure! Get it! You can do 2 things to stabilize it: 1-use a tripod, obviously. 2-get a bolt that fits the bottom of the camera (the tripod mount-should be a very common size) and use that bolt to attach some weight to the camera. a kilogram should do it. This weight will help keep the camera steady when you are holding it with your hands. There are even plans on the internet for home-made steady-cams which are inexpensive and very effective, no matter how big your camera is. Here's one: http://www.steadycam.org
