1) really high import tax 2) Porsche and BMW are both German cars hence will be cheap in Europe cause its a part of EU. EU policy number one is to sell things cheap to its own members. 3) U.S.A is one of the worlds biggest importer and exporter hence they have a really good shipment and transportation service. Hence, its cheap for them plus they export a lot of stuff to EU nations so they have like a treaty. I live in Dubai the Porsche Boxter 2011 is for Rs. 2,069,100 which is cheaper then most of the places. Well that's cause petrol here is cheaper then water and water the same price as India. And U.A.E exports a lot of oil to both Europe and USA. But India rocks..trust me i have been to all these places nothing can beat our motherland
