I 'dropped' my camcorder.

I droped my camcorder and now the screen is black how can i fix it?

    By the time you fix your old camcorder you could've bought a new one. Sorry but that happens when we got into accidents. Maybe your warranty still covers something. Try to contact them first.

it's time to take it in for repair but it will be expensive to fix! the problem is if you have a current warranty, it is now voided because it was drop ed! your better off to take it in to your local camera shop and get an estiment my question is do you have an electronic back ground and do you know how to swap out the screen? please understand if you are not qualified repair person and you try to fix it you will have a lot more problems then you want! Regardless of the brand you damaged the phototractile nodule. You could open the case and dismantile the damaged nodule, but you must be certain to use non-polaric implements. After extracting nodule, purchase like same from manufacturer and install with 3mm solder gun and fuse to chip assembly. If this makes no sense, take to store where purchased, hope it's on warranty and send back. If not, usually cheapest to recycle and repurchase.
