How do i upload videos from my sony handycam to the computer?

Whenever i plug in the UBS cord it just shows up as the pictures and no videos.... I NEED help i want to start making videos really good quality videos but i dont know how. ...show more

Software came with your camera. If you can't find it, it's available free on sony's u.s. website. If you have an older camera and an older mac, you may be out of luck

On the handycam, go into the menus and make sure the USB connection port is turned on. Make sure the computer video software in set to import video from that USB port.

leave it plugged in for a while it might just need time to upload if the vids are large.
