How can i delete past search items from the search the web bar?

I assume you are using Yahoo search, so.... If you look to the left of the search bar box, you will see a yellow pencil and a down arrow to the right of it. Use a single click on that pencil and the third option down says "clear history". Single click Clear History and you will no longer have your history. Now,...after you close the window, do more searching, and/or reboot the next day that option resets. So as long as you remember to click on the yellow pencil and the third option to clear history before closing your window or logging off you will not have a problem. If you continue to search it will log history again. Just clear it when you are ready. You can also go to the Tools link at the top of your window. click Tools, Internet Options, and select Browsing history and delete. Same for Temporary Files, and Cookies. Hope that helps

go for "internet options" in "tools menu" (internet explorer) or "control pannel" click on "delete cookies", when it is over click on "delete files" on the popup menu select the check box which says "Delete all offline contents" its done now best of luck

If you have firefox, goto tools and clear private data or just hit ctrl+shift+del. Then clear your cookies and cache, and browsing history just to be safe. For IE http://www.proxyway.com/www/delete-computer-cookies.html

IF you have yahoo toolbar, click on the pencil n then click on clclaer search history

go to tools,Internet options,there u will find cookies delete it automatically it will be deleted

go to internet options then click CONTENT then and click on auto-comlete off and delete the files left behind

try deleting your internet history, or then you will have to delete each item as it comes on the bar until u reach he end. If you have a google toolbar, right click on it and say clear search history

click on bar u will get cleare search histry
