How To Open Rar?

How do you open .rar files? what program do you need to open it?

  • I've been trying to open .rar files.. but i can't seem to get them to work.. can someone please tell me how to.. and what programs i need? thanks :)

rar files are compressed files to un rar them i reccomend you download "free rar extractor frog" its a tiny application that works like Winrar, very simple, just open it and drag the file you want to extract to its window then you are done ITS FREE

"rar" is the another compressed format of "zip". So no need to frust, just search ur OS & download the WINRAR s/w from the link and install it http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

if u use linux install unrar but if u using window un must install winrar or 7zip that program can open .rar file

If you have xp or higher, its a simple matter of right clicking on the rar file and selecting extract files. you need no software as windows comes with a file extractor
