    Hi, I agree that you have to decide first whether you want to blog for free or you have some money to spend. Free blogging gives you not much control over your blog and it can be taken away or altered by the platform providers if you do something that they don't like. Buying a domain name and hosting will allow you to do whatever you want and it really doesn't have to cost much, around $25 per month or less. You can then have Wordpress as the platform for blogging. I personally use a $25 per month blogging platform that allows you to set up as many different blogs as you want and hosting is included. really a bargain if you ask me.
