Is there an "idle" speed for the web?

What is the best web browser according to design and speed?

    Safari and Chrome are pretty much equal (on pc). I'm trying out Camino for mac right now, it's the frickin best browser ever, way better than safari for mac. It's made by the same people as firefox, it's just way faster.

Opera is the fastest just goto www.opera.com the download its less than 10.MB & try it out. Google peacekeeper & goto the futuremark site & benchmark them yourself . the next fastest is Chrome but its very basic compared with Opera.

Google Chrome for speed in javascript rendering. Opera (also ) for speed in web browsing. Firefox for add-ons. IE for crapping up your computer.

i use Firefox with window 7 and having amazing features to use and quite faster than other browsers..

Google Chrome is the fastest but its not very secure. I wouldn't bother IE or Safari. Firefox is the way to go. Although if your being spammed on a site Chrome detects it and automatically goes back a page.

these days you can use safari on windows too, but I am in favour of Firefox. Google Chrome is nice too, but for me Firefox has a wider range of options.
