Bold. I'm using the blackberry bold 9000 right now as I answer your question in bed. 8900 does not have 3G so the internet web browsing would be slower in comparison to the 9700, mind you it has a faster processor. I did not get the 9700 because I like the trackball and I did not want to spend so mich XD... Hope it answers your question!

The Curve still uses the trackball, whereas the bold has an optical trackpad. It honestly depends on what you prefer. I also believe that the bold has a faster processor and a nicer screen.
