Answer:
Definitly check the buyers feedback for the seller. My friend bough his little sister an ipod about a month ago and it didnt work at all. He's even experienced on ebay so i dont know what to tell you, you can never completely trust the internet. Also, remember that you are going to have to pay shipping and handling too and that costs extra.

yes, if it says "this seller has ___(about 90% or up)% positive feedback, click on it read what everyone has to say, then make the decision.

I think you are looking at ebay- and looking at the starting price -- it will go up-- you need to read the description COMPLETELY - and always check feedback -- if there is something negative on there -- read about it -- use your gut instinct - and smarts... Are you totally set on an Ipod or .. how about an MP3 player -- this one is good - and its $20 and thats shipping included. great reviews.. http://www.buy.com/prod/sandisk-sansa-m230-512mb-mp3-player-w-fm-tuner-sdmx3-512-a18/q/loc/111/202021592.html?adid=17662

Well I just bought an iPod off eBay this week, haven't got it yet but I'm trusting the seller... It's a good way to get bargains, just make sure you check the seller's feedback and read a couple of the guides on how to spot fakes. Also be sure to check how you're expected to pay for it. Over the past two weeks my brother has gone on my dad's account to bid on things before checking if he could pay by bank transfer (We don't have Pay Pal so we can only pay by that or cash-on-delivery) so now my dad's going to have bad feedback and thus not be able to buy things easily.

There is no way someone is selling a new iPod nano for $50. That is not even what a new shuffle cost in the store. I would not buy it. Also if it doesn't work you probably can't get your money back because a person is selling it to you and not a reputable company.
