Go to your photo album, click on an image you want to transfer, at the bottom right of the screen there should be a button that is a box with an arrow coming out of it, click that and on the menu that comes up hit email photo, then email the photo to yourself and retrieve it from your email on your PC.

Maybe syncing it would do it im not sure...i usually download picturea directly into my ipod. If the pictures are important you can try to email them to yourself.
