Can you rip dvd's so you can put them on your computer to itunes to an ipod?

There probably is a way, but it will require some expensive or harmful software to rip and convert it, also a lot of DVDs are copy-protected and cannot be ripped. You're better off just downloading that same movie off of iTunes if it's available.

there are all kinds of free programs available on line. dvdfab platinum 4 allows you a free 30 day trial. i like cucusoft conversion suite the best. you do have to purchase it but it allows you to convert just about any type of video file to iPod format including DVD and home video. it's simple, straight-forward, fast and usually 1 step depending on the options you choose.
