ok i have and iPhone and my friends owns an iPod touch, that happened to me for a while, but a jailbroke (hack) my iPhone and i have like 27 apps for my iPhone, and my battery last like 20 hours. check your screen brightness, keyboard sound, and verything that you can reduce. If you wanna jailbreak it and add apps on it for free(you have to have wifi) go to and do it its worth it. any questions???? email me

It depends on which apps you are running. Just having the apps does not effect the battery life on the touch. Apps that go onto MSN/AIM/ICQ/etc drain more life compared to the SNES app because of having to constantly being connected to the intner and all the memory it takes up.
